I saw the trailer and I thought it was really funny, making me remember Clueless, Legally Blond, Hot Chick, Devil Wears Prada and Sex and the City.

Also based from the novel The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic (Confessions of a Shopaholic in US) and Shopaholic Abroad (Shopaholic takes Manhattan in US) by Sophie Kinsella.

Directed by J.P Hogan who also directed My Best Friend's Wedding - not related to Hulk Hogan...

Produced by action producer Jerry Bruckheimer (Prince of Persia, CSI, CSI Miami, National Treasure, Pirates of the Caribbean, Amazing Race, Con Air, Top Gun etc.....)

He also produced alot of comedy and female staring movies like Kangaroo Jack, Coyote Ugly and ito na nga Confessions of a Shopaholic the Movie. - napag hahalataan.... may tendency....= P

Another feel good movie... hope I really feel good after watching this one like the feeling i had after watching The Devil Wears Prada and Sex and the City.

From Love at 1st Sight to Tying the Knot

Last week, December 12, 2008 my former boss (well since our group was divided into a different category, I now have a new boss) Heidi Anne Mendita our Group Product Manager tied the knot with her long time boyfriend (10 years) and best friend Pio Garayblas.

Well I can't help but share how much I envy this couple. I've been in the company for more than 2 years and working with Heidi. We have had our moments when our team would go out, dinner, shopping, movies, concerts and Pio would come. I've seen this couple this couple made "kulitan" with each other and the sweetness that they have for each other is so fresh that they it's like they just committed with each other. They looked so happy and so in love with each other.

I attended their wedding reception last Dec 12, 2008 at the Sofitel - Sunset Pavilion, some guests shared speeches and stories regarding the couple.

One story was how Pio met Heidi, well this story I fell in love with and let me start in my next paragraph.

From what I have heard and remembered from the wedding reception....


There was a party like 10 years ago, Pio was still in college and so does Heidi. As the story teller narrates, Pio saw Heidi in the party and fell in "Love At First Sight" with Heidi. From that moment on Pio never stopped making kulit Heidi's cousin for her number.

Of course like any cousin would do is not to take the guy seriously and give him a hard time (thats what I would do). So did heidi's cousin, gave Heidi's number out to Pio, but she dictated in a very fast manner that Pio would not have the chance to get it. But to her surprise, Pio memorized it and after a few days.... they were a couple for 10 years and now they were married. So I think there is truth to "Love At First Sigth".

Another story was narrated by Heidi herself, In one of their movie dates. It was when the movie ended, and they are on their way down the escalator. Pio was holding a piece of tissue paper and was looking for a garbage bin to throw it.

So he saw one, in the upper floor that they just left. So he told Heidi that if he shoots the piece of tissue paper into the garbage bin in the upper floor that they left while in the escalator going down Heidi will be Mrs. Garayblas.

Heidi was confident that Pio won't be able to make the shot and told herself "Kapal naman ng lalaking ito, gusto pa nya ako magign asawa nya." But magically PIo made the shot, and now they are married. Saya diba kakakilig..... hehehe

Sex and the City Movie Sequel Daw...

News that there will be a Sex and the City Movie II.... HBO management announced that they will be very happy and considering to do a follow up.

"Michael Lombardo, president of HBO's programming group, told a group of reporters at the cable network's annual press tour in Los Angeles today, "We're really heartened by the fans' enthusiasm. Absolutely, there is a lot of energy behind doing another SATC movie."

Bolt - The Super Dog

I just saw the movie..... I Loooove it also... Made me cry like 2 times.



Very good movie for pet lovers, the movie made me wanna hug Mica and Furby.

Bolt is like Homeward Bound - a movie about 2 dogs and a cat who got lost and made their way home across USA back in 1993. Bolt accidentally slipped in to a courier box, and transported somewhere in New York ( I think), with the help of new found friends made his way back to Hollywood.

I had fun watching the movie with my 2 friends... Traj and Nestle.....
